Perhaps while going to the court, delhi cm arvind kejriwal said that his life is dedicated to the country, whether he is in jail or outside. On Thursday, after about two hours of interrogation, ED arrested him in the excise policy case. While going to Rouse Avenue Court, cm kejriwal said, "My life is dedicated to the country. Whether I am inside or outside." Meanwhile, AAP's national general secretary (organisation) sandeep Pathak said on friday that an 'undeclared emergency-like situation' has arisen in the country and the bjp is trying to eliminate the opposition parties. Pathak said Kejriwal's arrest was "fraudulent".

Meanwhile the AAP leader said, “We have full faith in the judiciary. There may be a delay but ultimately justice will be served and truth will prevail.'' AAP's chief whip in delhi Assembly dilip Pandey said in another press conference that Kejriwal's arrest proved to be the biggest political mistake of the bharatiya janata party (BJP). It will happen and the people of delhi and the country will give a befitting reply to it in the lok sabha elections.

When targeting prime minister Narendra Modi and bjp, Pathak said that they are scared of kejriwal and AAP. He alleged, “A situation like undeclared emergency has arisen in the country. bjp and prime minister Modi are destroying these parties by sending the leaders of opposition parties to jail or by threatening them and forcing them to join BJP. Those joining bjp are being given 'clean chit' while those opposing their dictatorship are being arrested." He claimed that many AAP leaders, including minister Saurabh Bhardwaj, MLAs and councilors, were detained during the protest against Kejriwal's arrest. Pathak said, "What happened in delhi was unimaginable. All our leaders were put under house arrest by the police since last night. Those who were going to AAP office were taken into custody.
