In Rajsamand, congress changed the ticket..?

Sudarshan Singh Rawat, who was declared the congress candidate from Mewar's Rajsamand seat, has done damage control over the embarrassment caused by returning the ticket. Damodar gurjar, the candidate declared from Bhilwara, has been made the candidate from the Rajsamand seat. Whereas in Mewar, veteran congress leader and former assembly speaker CP Joshi has been given a Bhilwara ticket. In the last lok sabha elections also, the congress had fielded Devkinandan gurjar from the gurjar community in front of diya Kumari. Now there are discussions as to why congress brought in an OBC face in the form of Damodar gurjar after Rawat Rajput community candidate sudarshan Singh returned the ticket.

Around 20 lakh votes in Rajsamand

Rajsamand lok sabha seat is an important seat of Mewar. There are eight assemblies in it. If seen on a caste basis, OBCs have the upper hand here. According to reports, there are about 20 lakh voters in this seat, out of which almost half are OBC voters. Rawat Rajput has about three and a half lakh voters, followed by about two and a half lakh voters, Jats two lakh, Kumawat one and a half lakh, Brahmin one and a half lakh, Vaishya one lakh, gurjar 50 thousand and others. Rajsamand, Nathdwara, Bhim, Kumbhalgarh, Beawar, Merta, Degana, and Jetaran assembly seats in lok sabha are where all OBCs are in the majority.

 This is the situation

Talking about the record of the Rajsamand seat, after delimitation in the year 2009, this seat was created by combining Mewar and Marwar. There are eight assemblies in it and if we talk about the current situation, all the eight MLAs here are from BJP. Talking about the record of the last lok sabha elections, the bjp and congress fielded OBC faces here but they lost. In 2009, bjp defeated Rama Singh Rawat but Congress's Gopal Singh Shekhawat won. In the year 2014, the bjp gave a ticket to hari Om Singh Rathod and the congress repeated the ticket to Gopal Singh Shekhawat. BJP's Hariom Singh won here. In the last election, BJP's diya Kumari won and Congress's OBC face Devki Nandan gurjar lost.
