In the notification, a by-election has been announced for Karnal assembly seat. This seat has become vacant due to the resignation of two-time former haryana cm Manohar Lal Khattar. manohar lal khattar is trying to enter central politics through lok sabha elections. bjp has fielded a candidate from Karnal lok sabha seat. Whereas on the Karnal assembly seat, bjp has nominated cm Nayab Singh Saini, who is currently the mp from Kurukshetra.
By-election on 25 May
The division bench of Justice Sudhir Singh and Justice Harsh Bangar had reserved its decision on the petition on Tuesday. On which the decision came on Wednesday. Along with voting on 10 lok sabha seats in the state, by-election will also be held on Karnal assembly seat on May 25.
