According to the information, Gurmeet Singh, who lives in Tehsil Camp, had taken his six-months pregnant 38-year-old wife Jaswinder Kaur to Preet Nursing home due to bleeding. The victim says that the doctors in the nursing home were negligent in the treatment. Doctors said that the hospital did not have the necessary facilities and resources. He told the doctors to send his wife to some other hospital, but the hospital did not give any clear answer. Late in the night the doctors said that Jaswinder Kaur would have to undergo surgery. The family members also agreed to this. Money was also deposited for the surgery.
Delay in surgery even after depositing money
Even after depositing the money, the doctors started performing the surgery after a long time. Due to the negligence of the doctors, Jaswinder Kaur died during surgery. Angered by this incident, the family members created a ruckus in the nursing home.
The hospital management was accused of negligence. After receiving information about the incident and uproar, the police also reached the spot. police sent the body to the district general hospital for post-mortem.
