BJP candidates contesting lok sabha elections in punjab are constantly facing opposition from farmers. On saturday, bjp candidate Dinesh Babbu had to face opposition from a group of farmers in Gurdaspur. This was the second time that Dinesh Babbu had to face protest from farmers. Earlier on april 21, he also had to face the anger of farmers in Batala.

BJP candidate Dinesh Babbu had reached Sathiyali village of Gurdaspur on saturday for election campaign. During this, the farmers showed him black flags and asked many questions. Along with this, the protesting farmers also criticized the bjp led central government. Along with this, Dinesh Babbu was also surrounded for not allowing the protesting farmers to march to delhi and for using force against them. At the same time, the protesting farmers also condemned the government for not giving legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP) on all crops. The protesters said that they will continue their protest against bjp candidates in future also.

Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) has already said that it will oppose the bjp candidates and will ask the people to teach the party a lesson in the upcoming lok sabha elections . Farmers owing allegiance to various agricultural organizations are angry with the BJP-led central government for not accepting their demands, including MSP and legal guarantee of farm loans.
