The number of congress MLAs is continuously decreasing...

Congress, which was claiming to form the government in madhya pradesh in the assembly elections 2023, had to face a crushing defeat. Despite this defeat, congress tried to control itself before the lok sabha elections, but with former MLAs, former MPs and sitting MLAs joining bjp one after another, the strength of congress is weakening. After one more mla joining bjp, congress will now have 64 MLAs in the assembly.

It is noteworthy that in the 2023 assembly elections, 66 congress MLAs had won, while an independent mla had won one seat. Apart from this, all the remaining seats went to the account of Bharatiya Janata Party. Before the lok sabha elections, Chhindwara Amarwada mla Kamlesh Pratap Shah rebelled against the Congress. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. In this way the number of congress MLAs remained 65.

Ramniwas Rawat will join BJP.

Now Vijaypur mla Ramniwas Rawat, who is opposing Congress's lok sabha candidate Satyapal Singh Sikarwar from Morena seat, is joining BJP. After his joining bjp, congress will be left with only 64 MLAs. The party changes going on before the lok sabha elections seem to be making a lot of difference to the Congress. On Tuesday, mla Ramniwas Rawat will take membership of bjp during the general meeting in Vijaypur along with hundreds of workers in the presence of chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
