Congress candidate attacks bjp, says- 'Former CM...'

Priyanshu Budhiraja, the candidate contesting against former chief minister Manohar Lal on congress ticket, appeared in the Gurugram court on Monday. When ED had sent summons to rahul gandhi for questioning, youth congress workers under the leadership of Priyanshu Budhiraja had protested by blocking Khedkidaula toll in Gurugram. During this period, incidents of arson were also reported. The police had registered a case against him in this matter.

State President of youth congress Divyanshu Budhiraja also had a confrontation with the police during the demonstration at Khedkidaula Toll Plaza on Gurugram-Jaipur National Highway-48. Along with him, the youth also created a lot of ruckus here. The protest against ED's summons to rahul gandhi had become fierce. Road jams and incidents of arson were also carried out by the protesters amid the protests.

Gurugram police had to resort to lathicharge to control the situation. A case was registered against 5 youth members including Priyanshu Budhiraja in Khedkidaula police station. Since then this matter was pending in the court. This case was to be heard in the court on Monday. Gurugram police had filed a charge sheet against Divyanshu in the court. Divyanshu Budhiraja, who appeared before him in the same case, has been granted bail by the court on a bond of Rs 50,000.

Fear of defeat is haunting former cm Manohar - Buddhiraja

After getting bail from the court, Priyanshu Budhiraja said that the government wants to suppress every voice raised against it. Former cm Manohar Lal is afraid of defeat from Karnal. This is the reason why his case was taken forward at the time of elections. bjp wants to defend itself in the elections by using his old cases as a shield.
