Earlier, holidays were declared in the state between june 1 and june 30, but in view of the increasing heat, holidays have been declared from May 28 itself. The Directorate of school education has issued orders in this regard on Monday. The Directorate has said in its order that summer vacations in all the schools of the state will start from May 28 and end on june 30. For the last few days, the effect of heat wave is being seen in haryana and the maximum temperature is being recorded between 44-46 degrees Celsius. The official said that the Directorate of school education has issued orders in this regard to all district education officers, primary education officers, block education officers and block primary education officers.
The temperature will reach 48 degrees in the next two days
According to IMD, there is a possibility of increase in temperature in Gurugram and hisar of haryana for the next two days. The maximum temperature at both the places is likely to be 47 and 48 degrees Celsius on May 28 and 29 respectively. In comparison to both, the situation is slightly better in Ambala where the maximum temperature was recorded at 42 degrees Celsius on monday while the maximum temperature for the next two days will remain between 42-43 degrees Celsius.
Clear sky, scorching sun at most places in Haryana
It is extremely hot in faridabad at the moment and the temperature here is expected to be between 47 to 48 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, in the last week of May, the sky will be clear in most places in haryana and the effect of heat wave will be seen.
