A big decision has been taken by the haryana government for farmers and laborers. According to an official statement, the haryana government has removed the age limit from a scheme for farmers and farm laborers. Under this, financial assistance is provided in case of death or disability while operating agricultural machinery. The official statement said that the government has decided to remove the age limit under the 'Mukhyamantri Kisan and Khetihar Mazdoor jeevan Suraksha Yojana' for farmers, agricultural laborers and market yard laborers. It said that now children below 10 years of age and persons above 65 years of age will also be eligible for benefits under the scheme.
Earlier under this scheme, the age of the victim should not have been less than 10 years and not more than 65 years. Under this scheme, financial assistance ranging from Rs 37,500 to Rs 5 lakh is provided to farmers, agricultural labourers and market yard labourers in case of death or disability while operating agricultural machinery.
This decision was taken during a meeting chaired by chief minister Naib Singh saini here to review the projects of Agriculture, Horticulture Department and haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board. Agriculture minister Kanwar Pal also attended the meeting. The chief minister directed the officials to complete all the projects within the stipulated time frame without any delay.

We will get all the applications submitted verified and work will be done to provide concrete roofs to the people.
