Apart from mp and Andhra, congress party could not open its account in Tripura, uttarakhand, Himachal, Arunachal, Mizoram, Sikkim. Talking about UTs, the party remained at zero in delhi, Dadra nagar and Haveli, Andaman, Ladakh and Jammu Kashmir. The party could not get even a single seat in a total of 8 states and 5 UTs. The party was reduced to only one seat in 4 big states. These include West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, odisha and Gujarat.
