Why is he going to get a place in the Modi cabinet?
For the third time in the country, a new government is going to be formed under the leadership of narendra Modi. This time in the lok sabha elections, bjp did not get a single seat from Punjab. Despite this, Ravneet Singh Bittu, who was the bjp candidate from Ludhiana, is going to get a place in the cabinet. He had to face defeat at the hands of punjab Congress President amarinder singh Raja Vading. It is believed that bjp will now send Bittu to the Rajya Sabha. Ravneet Bittu confirmed being made a minister and thanked the bjp leaders. He said that this is a big responsibility for me. Bittu said that the prime minister said that all MPs are the same. Everyone should work honestly.
Mentioning the protests
Ravneet Singh Bittu said, "Any issue of the country, whether it is Amritpal's issue, whether it is Pakistan's issue, because we have a border state, whether it is the issue of farmers... I was the only person who raised these issues." He further said that no matter how many members of parliament were there, I kept fighting for the farmers for one and a quarter years and today I will go to bjp and get all those things resolved from there, I am saying the same thing to punjab on the first day and today that my work is only to build a bridge.
'People of punjab only want love'
He further said, "What is the condition of punjab, how has the feeling of hatred come, whether it is the kangana case or any other matter...people of punjab only want love, punjab is a priority for the country as well."
'Can bring good days'
When Ravneet Singh Bittu was asked that even after losing, he is being made a minister, what is the reason for this? On this, he said, "He has chosen me in his cabinet and this is a clear indication...right now he has given priority to punjab and has shown faith in me that this man can bring good days in punjab, can create a new Punjab."
