Incidents like scuffles are also happening among the people standing in long queues. Tanker Mafia is continuously active even in this dire situation. Continuous campaigns are being run against them by the police. The AAP government of the state has been approaching the court for the last several days regarding the water shortage in Delhi. The round of allegations and counter-allegations is going on regarding this. The delhi government is at loggerheads with many parties regarding this issue. What all happened in the supreme Court

This matter has now gone to the supreme Court. The supreme court has questioned the delhi government on this issue that what steps has the government taken against the tanker mafia active in the state. Regarding this, the delhi government told the court that these tanker mafias are active in the yamuna river from Haryana. In such a situation, the delhi government cannot go to those areas and take action against them. The delhi government further said that the haryana government should clarify the situation as to what steps have been taken by them to ensure proper supply of water. At the same time, during the hearing, the himachal pradesh congress government has backtracked from its earlier statement. Earlier, on the instructions of the court, it was said from their side that they are ready to supply additional 137 cusecs of water to Delhi. But now the Himachal government says that it does not have additional water available. In view of the seriousness of the issue, police from five police stations of delhi are deployed to protect the water of Munak Canal.
