The majority of the present tamil Nadu Legislative assembly are well-educated and graduates. of the DMK MLAs are doctors. Out of the total MLAs in tamil Nadu, 89 are graduates. 55 people have a master's degree. 90 have no college degree.

That is, 38.5% of the total MLAs in tamil Nadu are graduates. 23.5 percent have a master's degree. Only 38% did not have a college degree. More than 30 of the graduates are lawyers. Many hold Ph.D. As far as ministers are concerned, 3 out of 34 have completed Ph.D. 24 people are graduates. people have not completed schooling. Madurai Central Constituency MLA and Minister PDR Palanivel Thiagarajan, Thiruvidaimarudur Separate Constituency mla and Korada Kovi. Chehian, Mannargudi mla and industries minister T.R.P. Ponmudi, papanasam mla Jawahirullah, pollachi mla Jayaraman, Ambasamudram mla Isaki Subpaiah have received PhD degrees.


In the recently concluded lok sabha elections, 21 MPs from DMK have become MPs, most of them are graduates. are doctors. One is a doctor with a PhD, some are lawyers, and many have a master's degree. Only 2 completed schooling and did not go to college. So, most of the rulers of tamil Nadu today are educated people.
