Strict measures are being taken to prevent ganja being smuggled from other states. We also confiscate the property of those arrested in these crimes. In the last two years, 46 properties worth 18 crore five lakh rupees have been confiscated. Bank accounts are frozen.
I continue to advise that the police should be as committed to the fight against drugs as they are against bootlegging. Even if the government takes crime prevention measures against drug addiction, more awareness campaigns should be carried out in this regard.
The government has considered and is conducting awareness of the effects of drug addiction and rescuing drug addicts as a movement. He said that he requested all the legislators to bring that movement to the people.
