Many celebrities from the tollywood industry entered politics and became successful. It is known that there are female actors among those who are so successful. jayasudha is one such person. There is special to say about Jayasudha, the former star heroine and the present senior actress. Jayasudha, who acted as a heroine in films, and then played the role of a mother, also excelled in politics.
 Even though she was born in Madras, jayasudha turned the wheel in the politics of telugu states. While remaining silent she roared in the assembly. Actress jayasudha started her political career through the congress party. In this background, in the year 2009, actress jayasudha was given a secunderabad ticket. On that occasion, jayasudha entered the assembly for the first time after winning as secunderabad MLA on behalf of the congress party. After that jayasudha started changing parties like all politicians. Her career was hit like that. After winning in congress, she joined the tdp party. After spending some days there too, she joined the ycp party before the 2018 elections. Jayasudha, who worked in the ycp party for almost 5 years, then again went to the BJP.

 Before the 2023 telangana assembly elections jayasudha took a dig at bjp in the presence of Kishan Reddy. But on that occasion, there was a campaign that secunderabad ticket would be given to Jayasudha. But she wanted to work for the party while staying in the BJP. So jayasudha gave up the ticket. Now she is spending time in the BJP.
