British election 2024: .Ker Starmer to become Prime Minister!


The main opposition Labor party has taken over the government with a lead of more than 326 seats as the british parliamentary elections are being counted.


Voting for the 650-member british Parliament election was completed yesterday. Starting yesterday morning, 40,000 polling stations were set up across the country and the election was held with tight security. It was announced that the counting of votes would take place immediately after the election and the results would be declared.


Post-election polls predicted that Rishi Sunak's ruling Conservative party would win just 131 seats, while the left-wing Labor party would win 410 seats.In this situation, the work of counting the votes registered in the election is going on briskly. As of now, Indian-origin prime minister Rishi Sunak's Conservative party is leading in only 91 seats. The main opposition Labor party is currently leading in 368 seats. And the Liberal Democrats are leading in 51 seats.


Keir Starmer is said to be likely to be elected as the new prime minister of britain as the Labor party has won more than the 326 seats required for a majority out of a total of 650 members.


Prime minister Rishi Sunak's Conservative party led in 23 seats and suffered a major setback. At the same time the Labor party has a lead of over 150 seats. It has been reported that Rishi Sunak, who is currently the british prime minister, will resign from his post tomorrow morning.
