On social internet, slow-motion footage of former US president donald trump reacting barely in time to a gunshot striking his ear at the Butler event in pennsylvania is becoming quite popular. Numerous online commenters claimed that his last-second head movement, or tilt, actually enabled him to "dodge a bullet," which allowed him to escape the attack unscathed. Users posted slow-motion videos of the gunshot striking Trump's right ear and said that his head tilt "saved us from civil war." Others questioned if the bullet would have struck Trump in a different way if the Republican nominee had not tilted his head.

According to CBS news, trump claimed to have heard a "whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin." trump was hurt and carried off the stage with blood on his face; the Secret service verified that he was safe at this time. A spokesman declared that following the "heinous act," trump is "fine." The attack happened in western pennsylvania seven minutes into the rally. The shooting was shown live on news channels, and thousands of supporters had arrived for the demonstration.

According to eyewitnesses, the gunfire that happened during Trump's campaign rally might have started from the one-story structure to the right of the stage that has a white roof.
