How to receive a Rs.1000 scholarship? Guidelines for students' publication!
The tamil Nadu government has released the guidelines for the scheme to provide a monthly stipend of Rs.1000 .The government of tamil Nadu is going to implement the ``Tamilb Puthalvan'' scheme which will provide a monthly scholarship of Rs.
Accordingly, in the first phase, 3 lakh 28 thousand students will be benefited from the tamil Puthalvan scheme, a fund of 401 crore rupees has been allocated.
Students studying in a vocational institute up to 8th class or 9th class or 10th class in tamil medium are also eligible to benefit from this scheme.It has been informed that a person who is receiving any other assistance is eligible to benefit from this scheme and no matter how many students are eligible from the same family, everyone can apply to benefit under this scheme.
Distance education students and students pursuing higher education in non-recognized educational institutes are not eligible for incentives under this scheme.It has been reported that the scheme will be implemented in coordination with 9 departments of the social welfare department and this scheme will increase the enrollment rate of total students in tamil Nadu by 10 percent.
