Don’t Just Repost, Improve Your social media Engagement: PM Modi’s Advice To nda CMs, Deputy CMs

Prime minister Narendra Modi, during a meeting with the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) chief ministers and deputy chief ministers over the weekend in New Delhi, highlighted the need to improve social media engagement.

According to a source aware of the developments in the meeting, the PM said, “The Left ecosystem seems to be very active in creating a narrative on multiple issues, despite so much work being done by the government. It is important for us to do what is needful to change this narrative.”

“Most of the leaders have reduced their social media presence on the impact of central government or state government schemes only to sharing . They are not adding their inputs or doing any value addition. This is critical to create an impact,” said another source quoting the PM.
Among the discussions was the insistence on learning best practices, and presentations on issues from development to curbing menaces such as illegal mining.Another point highlighted by the prime minister was the relevance of a strong federal structure. Every chief minister, who has been elected to power in the state, is empowered to take his or her own decision, the PM said, according to the sources.

Saturday and sunday saw brainstorming at the bjp headquarters in the national capital. Present at the meeting were Defence minister Rajnath Singh, home minister amit shah and health minister and party president JP Nadda, along with bjp general secretary organisation BL Santosh.
