Many young entrepreneurs, real estate tycoons,  start-ups, doctors, lawyers, and corporate employees have also turned their attention toward luxury cars. In tamil Nadu,  the number of buyers of luxury cars like bmw, mercedes-benz, Jaguar, and  Audi has increased by  50 percent in one year.

While many foreign car companies have been manufacturing cars in India, some have always preferred luxury cars. High speed and comfortable seats are the choice of people. Cars priced above Rs 30 lakh come in luxury cars.

A total of  5,797 cars were registered in tamil Nadu in the financial year 2022-23. That's up  46.2% last year to 8,475. The highest number of  1,668 cars were registered in the chennai region and  510  in Coimbatore. As many as 110 luxury cars were registered in madurai,  95 in tirunelveli, and  67 in Trichy.

When it comes to cars, bmw cars are the most popular car of the people. In 2023-24,  715 bmw cars were registered in the chennai zone,  226  in the coimbatore zone,  61 in madurai,  34 in tirunelveli, and  33  in Trichy. people have bought mercedes-benz cars next. chennai registered  706 cars, coimbatore 203, madurai 35, tirunelveli 45 and Trichy 27.

Jaguar land rover is in third place.
There were 76 units of Porsche, 66 audi, seven Bentley, six Lamborkernies, five Rolls-Royces, four Misyards, and one each of Aston Martin and Ferrari. While luxury cars were bought only by the affluent, many young industrialists, real estate tycoons, start-ups, doctors, lawyers, and corporate employees have also turned their attention to luxury cars.
