Kejriwal is caught in the trap of corruption...!?

* Nationwide recognition with the Lok Pal movement.!
* kejriwal is the youngest person to ascend the throne of Delhi.
* Arrested in an official capacity but the first CM.

Delhi cm arvind kejriwal was born on 16 august 1968 in Haryana. He is the eldest of three children born to Gobind ram kejriwal and Geeta Devi. He graduated in mechanical engineering from IIT Kharagpur. First worked in the indian Revenue service for a while. His fight with Anna Hazare for the Jana Lokpal Bill and the Right to Information Act earned him national prominence. He was awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2006 for his efforts in bringing the Right to Information Act and empowering the poor. In 2012, he founded a political party called aam aadmi party and published a book called Swaraj in the same year. Sheila Dikshit, who served three times as the chief minister of delhi, won with a majority of 25,864 votes in the delhi assembly elections held after the party was founded. kejriwal was the youngest chief minister of Delhi. Later, kejriwal dissolved his 49-day government and resigned as the chief minister after the Jan Lokpal Bill was not approved in the delhi Assembly. In the 2014 parliamentary elections, arvind kejriwal contested against BJP's prime ministerial candidate narendra modi from varanasi but lost to narendra modi by a margin of 3, 71, 784 thousand votes. He was re-elected as the chief minister of delhi after winning 67 out of 70 seats. kejriwal won from the New delhi constituency with a margin of 31,583 votes. He also won 62 out of 70 seats in the 2020 delhi assembly elections. kejriwal won by 14227 votes over bjp candidate sunil Kumar Yadav.
It must be said that arvind kejriwal suffered a huge political blow in 2024. The ED arrested delhi cm and aam aadmi party national convener arvind kejriwal in the month of march 2024 in the money laundering case of the delhi Liquor scam which created a sensation across the country. However, even if ED has issued summons 9 times, he has not attended the trial even once. When ED approached the high court to protect him from arresting him, the high court did not agree, then he approached the supreme Court. It is noteworthy that arvind kejriwal was the first sitting cm in the country to be arrested while still holding the post of Chief Minister. In the past, bihar chief minister Lalu prasad Yadav, tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa, and jharkhand chief minister Hemanta Shorum were also arrested while still in office but resigned from their posts before the investigating agencies took them into custody. According to the law, among the constitutional posts, only the posts of President and governor are protected from arrest. They will get relief till their tenure expires or they voluntarily resign. But there is no protection for posts like the prime minister and the chief minister, so they do not lose their posts just because they are arrested. But the same is true of kejriwal, who is being administered from the custody of the ED despite his arrest. For the first time on march 24, he issued an official order regarding water supply in Delhi. He is still in tihar jail for more than 130 days and is ruling the state from there with his power.
