MNS says that this incident happened earlier, when shiv sena members threw betel nuts on raj Thackeray's vehicle. MNS leader Avinash Jadhav has warned of a strong response to any further provocation.

shiv sena (UBT) leader Anand Dubey has also reacted to the attack on uddhav Thackeray's convoy. He said, now we know why raj Thackeray and his party are called 'suparibaaz', uddhav Thackeray's convoy was attacked in Thane. uddhav thackeray, who has been the chief minister of Maharashtra, has Z category security and he is the son of balasaheb thackeray, if he is not safe in the state then how will he protect the common people. This attack is the failure of the state government. The law and order here has completely collapsed, the home minister should resign.
Anand Dubey said that such attacks are happening in Devendra Fadnavis's police, Eknath Shinde's so-called shiv sena and his thane Nagar district.
