American short-seller Hindenburg Research on saturday (August 10) has made a new disclosure against madhavi Buch, the head of market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of india (SEBI). Hindenburg has alleged that SEBI chairperson Buch and her husband had stakes in the obscure offshore fund used in the alleged adani money laundering scam.
Now aam aadmi party MP sanjay singh has reacted on this issue. He said, "The government had got wind of the Hindenburg disclosure. This is the reason why prime minister Narendra Modi ended the parliament session three days ago. The Modi government is steeped in corruption from head to toe. To save his friend adani, PM Modi got the investigation done by the same SEBI chairman who committed the scam. The supreme court should reconsider its decision. There is an important press conference in this regard at 10.30 am in the party office." jairam ramesh also raised questions
