In such situations, people should give priority to their safety and avoid bathing in rivers, drains, ponds and water bodies. He has appealed to the people that people, especially those living in low-lying areas, should be especially vigilant about their safety.

He directed for the immediate restoration of basic facilities including water and electricity in the affected areas. The cm told the officials that necessary precautionary measures should be taken based on the forecast of the Meteorological Department for the coming days.
