MP bjp Committee member arrested, case of misbehaving…

A member of the madhya pradesh bjp Working Committee has been arrested for allegedly creating a ruckus at a party function here and misbehaving with chief minister Mohan Yadav's Officer on Special Duty (OSD), a police official said on Monday. According to complainant Naib Tehsildar Nimesh Pandey, Hirendra Bahadur Singh abused, created a ruckus and misbehaved with the institute's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) lokesh Sharma at a bjp function at the atal bihari vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis on Saturday.

Apart from heading the state government-run institute, Sharma is also the Chief Minister's OSD at the Secretariat. A close aide of Yadav confirmed this. The police official said, "After registering the case, we served notice to Singh and called him to the police station on sunday where he was arrested."

Inspector Nirupa Pandey of Kamla nagar police station said that Singh has been accused of abusing, threatening and obstructing a government official in his work. Singh was produced before the Assistant Commissioner of Police's court, which sent him to judicial custody the previous day. police said the state bjp working committee member was upset over some issue related to his daughter's job (run by the madhya pradesh government).

In the recently held lok sabha elections, the bjp won all 29 seats in madhya pradesh and one of the reasons for this one-sided victory was attributed to the excellent coordination between the party organisation and the state government.
