Dushyant Chautala appeals to PM Modi regarding Vinesh...

Former haryana Deputy cm Dushyant Chautala has demanded that wrestler Vinesh Phogat be sent to Rajya Sabha. He has demanded from President draupadi murmu and PM narendra modi that he be made a nominated member of rajya sabha like sachin tendulkar was made. Let us tell you that there is a provision for making nominated members in Rajya Sabha.

Dushyant Chautala posted about his demands on 'X' on Monday, "4 nominated members' seats are vacant in rajya sabha, on which the President will soon nominate 4 members. I request the President and the prime minister to nominate the country's brave daughter Vinesh Phogat to the rajya sabha like sachin tendulkar so that a strong voice of youth, women and sportspersons reaches the country's Parliament.''

Brave daughter should get respect - Chautala

Chautala further wrote, ''An internationally respected wrestler like Vinesh Phogat should not go through party politics and elections. The country believes that being nominated to the rajya sabha will be the real honor for this brave daughter of india which she deserves. Vinesh will fulfill all the eligibility criteria for nomination on 25 August.'' Let us tell you that Vinesh's performance was excellent in the semi-finals of the olympics and she made it to the finals but she was disqualified before the finals due to being 100 kg overweight. Due to which there was a lot of uproar on this issue in india and political rhetoric also started.

Bhupendra Singh Hooda has made this demand

Like Dushyant Chautala, congress leader and former cm Bhupendra Singh Hooda had also demanded to send Vinesh to Rajya Sabha. However, reacting to his demand, indian National Lok Dal leader Abhay Chautala had said that Bhupendra Hooda's demand to send Vinesh Phogat to rajya sabha is also politically motivated. When Neeraj Chopra made the country proud by winning gold in the last olympics, there were rajya sabha elections at that time too, then why did Hooda send his son to rajya sabha instead of sending Neeraj to rajya sabha
