Life in rajasthan has been disrupted due to continuous torrential rains. Due to rain, orders were issued to close schools in many districts including the capital Jaipur. Schools remained closed in many districts on tuesday as well. 22 people have died in rain-related incidents during two days. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a 'red alert' for heavy rain in many areas on tuesday and wednesday as well.


Chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma today did an aerial survey of the areas affected by heavy rains in Dausa, Karauli and Bharatpur districts. He wrote on the social media platform 'X', 'Today, after conducting an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas of Karauli district and taking stock of the waterlogging and heavy rain-affected areas, I held a meeting with the departmental officials. Gave instructions for efficient disaster management in the meeting.''


Kirori Lal meena active after resigning

Kirori Lal Meena, who was not seen in official meetings after resigning from the post of minister, was also seen active today. He visited many affected areas and held a meeting of officials in Dausa. The Meteorological Center jaipur has predicted heavy and sometimes very heavy rains in some parts of Bharatpur, jaipur, Ajmer and Kota divisions on august 13-14. Moderate and sometimes heavy rains may occur in some parts of eastern rajasthan on august 15-16.

The Meteorological Center on tuesday issued a 'red alert' for Tonk, Karauli and Dausa districts and an 'orange alert' for districts including jaipur, Alwar, Jhalawar. In view of the heavy rains, the administration declared a holiday today in many districts including Jaipur. Let us tell you that four colors are used to issue weather alerts in the country. The Meteorological Center has released the data of rainfall in the state. In the last 24 hours till 8.30 am on tuesday, the highest rainfall of 163 mm was recorded in Mahwa of Dausa. Nainwa in Bundi recorded 161 mm of rain, Sanganer in jaipur recorded 152 mm, Madhorajpura in jaipur recorded 136 mm of rain which falls in the category of very heavy rain. During this period, heavy rain occurred at various places in many districts including Karauli and Bikaner.
