The Mann cabinet has also approved Punjab's first sports policy. Now a cadre of 500 posts will be set up for medal-winning players. This will include the posts of 460 senior coaches and 40 deputy directors. Now a youth club will be formed in every village of Punjab. people between the ages of 15 and 35 will be its members. A budget of about eight crores has been kept for this. An area near Shivalik will be developed to promote adventure sports. The proposal for the care of disabled children has also been approved. Councilors posted in the Family court of punjab will get a daily allowance of Rs 600.
