177 prisoners of mp will be released on Independence Day!!!

177 prisoners serving sentence for their crimes in different districts of madhya pradesh will be released on the occasion of Independence Day this time. Every year on Independence Day, the prison department gives the benefit of exemption to the prisoners under the release policy. This time also this benefit is being given to the prisoners.
According to the information received from the officials of the prison department, according to the prison release rules, prisoners serving sentence in rape, POCSO Act do not get the benefit of Independence Day exemption. Apart from this, prisoners serving sentence in drug trafficking are also not given this benefit.

Apart from this, there is a provision to reduce the sentence on Independence Day for prisoners serving sentence in other crimes, considering their conduct and other points. Giving the benefit of this rule, 177 prisoners will be released from jails across the state. The prisoners who are being released were serving life imprisonment.

Where, how many prisoners will be released?
Jail department official Mansharam patel said that the prisoners who are being released from jail have also been given training for employment so that they can go out and join the mainstream of society and do good deeds by repenting from the crimes in their lives. According to jail officials, 15 prisoners will be released from bhopal jail, 24 from Satna jail, 18 from indore jail, 20 from jabalpur jail, 16 from gwalior jail, 15 from Narsinghpur jail, 19 from ujjain jail.
