Appeal to affluent families of Himachal to give up subsidy…

himachal pradesh chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has made a big appeal to the general public. He has urged the affluent families of the state to give up subsidy. A similar request was also made by the country's prime minister Narendra Modi to the affluent families to give up gas subsidy. Its widespread impact was seen across the country. Now this appeal of chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is also likely to get positive results. The chief minister said that big hotel owners should also come forward and take the initiative to give up subsidy. However, bjp has opposed the changes in the schemes started earlier, calling them anti-people.

Affluent families should take the initiative to give up subsidy - cm Sukhu

chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that earlier the then bjp government had waived the electricity bills of affluent people for political gain, while the current government is giving the benefit of subsidy to poor families. He called upon the affluent families to give up the government subsidy, so that the state can become self-reliant and move forward on the path of development. He said that big hotels should also take initiative to give up subsidy on electricity and water.

The chief minister said that the state government is working to improve the quality of water, so only families with annual income less than 50 thousand will be provided subsidy on water bills. However, it is also worth noting here whether there are such families in the state whose annual income will be less than 50 thousand rupees. Himachal bjp President Dr. Rajiv Bindal has also raised questions on this criterion of the government.

Claim to focus on rural economy

Wheat produced through natural farming will be purchased at the rate of Rs 40 and maize at the rate of Rs 30 per kg. Its certification will also be done.
