He could not bear to see the self-esteem of the telugu people being disturbed, and as a symbol of the self-respect of the telugu people, the telugu desam party was established. He came to power within a year of founding the party and created history. After entering the political arena, ntr made many reforms. He brought it and did a lot of good to the people. Things like Rs 2 per kilo of rice, a complete ban on alcohol, and women's share in property made ntr a god among the people. After the death of his wife Basavatharakam, ntr got used to loneliness. The defeat of NTR's party in the elections at that time also made ntr sad. At the same time, lakshmi Parvathi came to ntr to write his biography. But after persuading him somehow, lakshmi Parvati got a chance to live in Rama Rao's house in 1987. The acquaintance she grew with him while writing NTR's life story eventually led to love. ntr also wanted to marry her. But she was already married to Veeragandham Subbarao. They had a son. Veeragandham Subbarao was unable to do anything when he came to know about her marriage with ntr and he was forced to divorce her.


So after getting divorced in Narasa Raopet court in 1993, Major Chandrakant introduced her to all his fans saying that he loved lakshmi Parvati in front of thousands of people at the 100-day function of the movie Tirupati. The love that continued between them eventually led to marriage. So ntr married lakshmi Parvati and gave her life again. However, due to opposition from NTR's own family, lakshmi Parvati was not accepted by her family. After her marriage with ntr, lakshmi Parvati also interfered in the party's affairs. Chandrababu did not like that at all.  The party has also reached the point of decline.


In 1994, 200 MLAs of the tdp party, which won 219 seats, turned against NTR. They wanted Chandrababu's leadership. Chandrababu kept those 200 MLAs in the Vaishroy Hotel and opened them to new politics. Everyone thought that he did it just out of anger at lakshmi Parvati. ntr went to Vaishroi Hotel and had a bitter experience there. Later Chandrababu became cm with the support of those MLAs. ntr could not bear the burden and died of a heart attack.
