JMM mla Dashrath Gagrai has denied the news of joining BJP. He has described Shibu Soren as his leader. Gagrai said that he will eat half a roti but will not let the honor of Guruji fall down. Former cm Champai Soren is in delhi these days and there are speculations about him joining bjp along with some JMM MLAs. Gagrai's press release written on august 18 is currently in discussion in which he wrote, "I deny the news of my joining bjp along with former cm Champai Soren ji of the state. Misleading news is being run in the media about me that I am going to delhi with former cm Champai Soren. I deny this news. I am currently involved in the foundation stone laying/inauguration program in my constituency.''
I will not betray the voters of Kharsawan - Gagrai
Gagarai has shared this press release on Facebook. In which he further writes, ''The people of Kharsawan have made me win the election by staying hungry and thirsty since 2014. I have a huge debt to the voters of Kharsawan. I cannot betray my voters by joining BJP.''
I am a soldier of JMM - Gagrai
Gagarai further writes, ''Dishum Guru Shibu Soren is the most accepted leader of this state. I am in politics under his patronage. We will eat half a roti but will not let the honor of Guruji come down. JMM is the party of the soil of this state and I am proud that I am a soldier of this party.'' For some time now, there has been talk of Champai Soren being angry with the JMM leadership. Meanwhile, he reached delhi via assam and Kolkata. It is believed that he is in touch with a senior bjp leader. Champai has not said anything clearly about joining the bjp and has maintained the suspense in his answers to the media.
