NTR brought reservations for the bc communities..!?

- True sovereignty for BCs.
- Recognition of poor and weak classes with NTR.
- Many BCs were given mp and mla tickets.

People had huge expectations of ntr, who came to power after forming a party in just 9 months amidst many sensations. Realizing these expectations, as soon as he became the Chief Minister, many welfare schemes were implemented for them, fulfilling the hopes of many poor people. Development has also been decentralized. And some of the decisions taken by ntr in particular caused a stir in Andhra Pradesh. If Ambedkar brought reservations for sc and st communities, ntr brought reservations in the name of BCs for many of the weaker sections who were left behind till then. Due to these reservations brought by ntr, many people from Badugu and weaker sections became educated and got high jobs. Also, because of the reservations brought by ntr in the local body elections, many people belonging to the weaker sections of the Badugu were elected as public representatives, and laid a strong foundation for their development in the 1980s. Also, till then the representation of bc in the Legislative Assembly. The role of the representatives of the bc people was very nominal. It used to be great that one out of every ten people would get a chance to represent the people of BC.
However, after ntr became the chief minister, many BCs were given mp, mla tickets, JDP chairpersons, and other nominated positions, and their political growth was supported. Also, NT Rama Rao is credited with bringing the law that women should have a share in property.
