'He knew but he...', Nana Patole targets Eknath Shinde…

The opposition is attacking the Eknath Shinde government over the alleged sexual abuse of two girls of a thane school. Meanwhile, maharashtra congress President Nana Patole has targeted the maharashtra government. He said that girls were raped in a school in badlapur but cm Eknath Shinde did not take any action.

Nana Patole said, "It is a case of 13 August, he went to badlapur on 15 August, he knew but he did nothing. Whose pressure was on him, did he become the chief minister only for power. This incident of badlapur will be raised in the entire state congress and tomorrow the women's wing of congress will go to Badlapur." Apart from Nana Patole, Mahavikas Aghadi leader uddhav thackeray said, "I have heard that the person arrested in the badlapur case is associated with BJP. If this is so, will he also be released after writing an essay, like what happened in Pune? What happened to Mihir Shah, the accused arrested in the accident in Worli, Mumbai, this should not happen in the badlapur case."

He also said that there should be no politics in such incidents. In whichever city or state, immediate action should be taken on such an incident, the case should be run in a fast track court, so that the victim's family gets justice soon. When the Nirbhaya case happened, it seemed that such incidents would stop but it did not happen. It took eight years for Nirbhaya to get justice."
