Is congress creating hurdles in the name of reservation...?

The Public service Commission i.e. UPSC had issued a notice on its official website for 45 posts of senior officers in ministries through lateral entry. After the notice of this recruitment process came out, there was protest from the opposition. The opposition said that through this the government is snatching the rights of SC-ST and OBC. The government gave its arguments. In the midst of the protest, on the instructions of PM Modi, Union minister Jitendra Singh wrote a letter to UPSC, after which it was cancelled.

Lateral is a direct process of recruitment

Lateral entry is a kind of direct recruitment process, in which direct recruitment is done. Through this, R Narayan, who once reached the post of President of India, also came. Earlier he was a student of Harold Laski from london School of Economics. When he returned from there, the then PM jawaharlal nehru gave him lateral entry. If the issue of reservation is coming up, then it empowers the person, but in lateral entry, there is a process of minimum entry directly at the joint secretary level. This is a process above the director rank. The feeder candidates in this are already class one.

If someone becomes a senior officer from class one, then where does the issue of reservation come from? This is just the politics of votes. In such a situation, only the work of misleading the public is done. K.R. Narayan's entry was done in the same way. He also came from a scheduled caste. There is no provision of reservation anywhere in lateral entry. This post is above class one, the provision of reservation has been made for group A and B etc. In this, reservation has been made only in name, and the government felt that it will suffer losses, so it has cancelled it.
