It can be said that Kalvakuntla chandrasekhar Rao fought a tireless struggle starting from the student movements to achieving a separate telangana and rising to the CM's chair.  KCR was the first chief minister after the formation of Telangana. So far, he has won 8 times as mla and 5 times as mp and achieved a record. kcr was born on february 17, 1954, in Chintamadaka of the joint medak district. kcr, who became interested in politics from his student days, started his political career at the youth Congress. Later he joined the telugu desam party and contested for the first time from siddipet in 1983 and lost. He won from siddipet in 1985 by-elections. He received successive victories in 1989, 1994, 1999, and 2001. Moreover, in 1997, he took charge as the minister of Transport in the United States. In 1999, he assumed the post of Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. After that, he resigned from the post of Speaker and mla with the aim of achieving telangana statehood, founded the trs party, contested from siddipet in 2001, and won. In the 2004 elections, he won as mp from karimnagar lok sabha seat. He supported the UPA in the 14th lok sabha and took charge as Union Labor Minister.
Due to the political developments, he resigned from the post of minister and joined the telangana movement. In 2009 also he contested as mp in palamuru by-election and won. After the formation of the telangana movement, he won the 2014 elections from the Gajwel constituency. He assumed the post of Chief Minister. After that, he won from Gajwel in the 2019 elections and was made a minister once again. kcr, who contested from the Gajwel constituency and won in the 2023 election too, congress came to power after losing across the party. In this way, even though he changed parties, he maintained his power without diminishing.
