Prime minister Narendra Modi, who is on a three-nation tour to poland and ukraine, left for ukraine by train.

Prime minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kyiv this morning and paid floral tributes to the bronze statue of mahatma gandhi installed at the Avi Foam Botanical Garden in 2020 on the occasion of his 151st birth anniversary.

Modi was received by Ukrainian President Zelensky at the National Museum of history in Kyiv. Modi and Zelensky paid tribute to the children who lost their lives in the Russian attack.

"Modi and I paid tribute to the children who lost their lives in the Russian attack," Zelensky wrote on Twitter. Children in every country deserve to live safely. We have to make it possible," he tweeted.

In a series of tweets, Modi said, "
At this moment, my heart goes out to the families of the children who died.  I pray that they get the strength to bear this pain," he tweeted.

Modi was received by Zelensky at the Ukrainian Presidential Palace.   india and ukraine are likely to sign four agreements in the fields of agriculture, medicine, culture, and humanitarian assistance. Stay tuned for more updates.
