The state of andhra pradesh launched the Skill Census initiative under the direction of chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. This is the nation's first of its such project. As a pilot project, the State Skill Development Department intends to begin the Skill Census on september 3 in the mangalagiri constituency. nara lokesh is Mangalagiri's representative.
 
Additionally, the department intends to carry out the Skill Census at acharya Nagarjuna University. The app that will be utilized to administer the survey is almost finished. Users can enroll their data through the website or app in addition to the survey. In order to facilitate online enrollment for new participants, the survey details will also be made available on the internet by the officials.


This survey would involve six officials from each village and ward panchayat. Two training sessions for the Skill Census will be held for these officers on august 23 and 24, as well as august 30 and 31. Following the training, representatives will use a tablet device to visit each home and gather data. In mangalagiri, the skill survey might take up to eight months.

The government will be able to determine the skill levels of pupils, the number of employed and jobless people in the state, and the number of people looking for improved work possibilities with the aid of the Skill Survey. Following the Skill Census, the government will identify skills gaps and provide people with skill training; following completion of the courses, students will get certificates.
