Case filed against bjp chief, what is the whole matter?


A case was registered on saturday against 51 named and 12,000 unidentified people for clashing with police personnel during a rally of Bharatiya Janata yuva Morcha (BJYM) in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi. The report includes the names of some prominent bjp leaders including jharkhand bjp president Babulal Marandi, leader of Opposition in the assembly Amar Kumar Bauri, Union minister Sanjay Seth and former Union minister Arjun Munda.

Ranchi Senior Superintendent of police (SSP) Chandan Kumar Sinha told PTI that an FIR has been registered at Ranchi's Lalpur police station on the statement of the magistrate. Action will be taken against these people soon. Lalpur police station in-charge Rupesh Kumar Singh said, an FIR has been registered against 12,000 people including 51 identified people.

At the same time, the district administration had implemented Section 163 of the indian Civil Security Code, 2023 (BNSS), which replaced Section 144 of the CrPC within a radius of 500 meters of the event venue, Morhabadi Ground, except the premises. During this, public meetings, rallies, dharnas, demonstrations and gathering of five or more people were banned within this perimeter from 11 am to 11 pm on Friday.
