Sukhu cabinet made a big change in police subsidized travel!!!


The meeting of the himachal pradesh cabinet was held on sunday (August 25). chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu chaired this meeting at the State secretariat in Shimla. The chief minister reached the State secretariat from Oak Over on foot in the morning for the meeting. Many important decisions have been taken in this meeting. The most important decision in this was related to the subsidy travel given to the himachal pradesh police personnel in the buses of Path Parivahan Nigam. The cabinet decided to give concession to inspectors, jail officers (from jail warden to non-gazetted rank executive staff). Along with these officers, the security guards of the himachal pradesh secretariat will get concession in the buses of Himachal Path Parivahan Nigam. The state government approved to increase the monthly fee for concessional travel from Rs 110 to Rs 500 per month.


Decision to implement 'CM Sukh Shiksha Yojana'

In the meeting of the himachal pradesh cabinet, it has been decided to implement the 'Chief minister Sukh Shiksha Yojana'. The objective of this scheme is to provide assistance to widows, destitute women, divorced women and disabled parents in providing upbringing and education to their children. Under this scheme, eligible children will be given a grant of one thousand rupees per month to meet their education, health and nutritional needs till the age of 18 years. Apart from this, financial assistance will also be given for fees and hostel expenses of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses under the scheme.


Gift of police office to Dadasiba

The himachal pradesh cabinet approved a six-month relaxation in age for children already admitted in Nursery, LKG and UKG during the academic year 2023-24. This will allow them to get admission in the next higher classes from class I. Apart from this, it was decided to set up a new sub-divisional police office at Dadasiba in district Kangra and police post at Alampur and upgrade Sansarpur Terrace and Moin police posts to police stations. The cabinet also approved the creation of necessary posts for the smooth functioning of these offices.
