The tamil Nadu government has given additional charge to senior IAS officers Amutha and Manivasan.

S K Prabhakar, who was the Commissioner of Revenue Administration in the government of tamil Nadu, was recently appointed as the chairman of the tamil Nadu Public service Commission (TNPSC). Following this, there was an expectation of who would be given the post of Commissioner of Revenue Administration.


Water Resources Secretary Manivasan has been given additional charge of Administrative Reforms and Vigilance Commissioner. Revenue Secretary Amutha has been given additional charge of Revenue Administration and Disaster Management Commissioner.

In an order issued by Chief Secretary N. Muruganandham, Water Resources Secretary K. Manivasan has been in additional charge of Monitoring Commissioner and Administrative Reforms Commissioner S.K. Prabhakar. Revenue Secretary P Amutha will hold the charge of Commissioner of Revenue Administration, which was held by S.K. Prabhakar.


Recently, Muruganantham was appointed as the new Chief Secretary and now IAS officers Amutha and Manivasan have been given additional charge. P. Amudha started her career as an IAS officer from 4 september 1994 in tamil Nadu cadre. Initially, she was appointed as collector of Dharmapuri district in tamil Nadu. She was additional chief electoral officer in the Public (Elections) Department in the tamil Nadu Government.
