Tenkasi district has extended the deadline for booking tickets for the Chief Minister's Trophy for the year 2024. The sports Development Authority of tamil Nadu (SDAT) tenkasi district is all set to host several new sports events in the 2024 tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Trophy.   district, Regional, and state-level competitions for the tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Trophy will be held during september and october in 53 disciplines in  27  disciplines and 53 disciplines in five categories viz., school, college students, Differently Abled Persons, Public and government Servants.

Prize Money:
At the state level, the first prize is Rs 1 lakh,  the second prize is Rs 75,000 and the third prize is Rs 50,000 for individuals. The first prize is Rs 75,000, the second prize is Rs 50,000 and the third prize is Rs 25,000 for team competitions. For the first time, the government of tamil Nadu will award the fourth-place winners in individual and team competitions on equal with the third prize. The certificates given in these competitions will also help them to get concessions in higher education and employment.

Eligibility to Participate:
In tenkasi district, sports competitions will be conducted for school students in the age group of 12  to  19  years, college students in the age group of 17 to 25  years, general category students from 15  years to 35  years,  differently abled persons of all ages and permanent employees who are tamil Nadu, government employees.

How to apply for the competition:
The details of participation in these competitions can be made through the website http://sdat.tn.gov.in and documents can be submitted and uploaded.

Last date to apply:
The last date for booking to participate in the competitions has been extended to 02.09.2024 Only those who have registered online can participate in the competitions.
