It has been 10 years since the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana was launched. prime minister Narendra Modi took to twitter to extend his greetings to the people on the occasion. The prime minister said that over the last decade, more than  52 crore Jan Dhan accounts have been opened in the country under this scheme,  and Rs. 2 lakh 31 thousand crore have been deposited in them so far.

Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is one of the major schemes launched by the Modi-led central government. The scheme was launched by Modi on august  28, 2014. Earlier, Modi launched the scheme as part of the Independence Day celebrations at the red Fort. The scheme was implemented across the country with effect from 28th august 2014.

The prime minister launched the Jan Dhan Yojana scheme with many objectives. This scheme is designed for the benefit of the government and the people. The scheme plays an important role in providing direct financial assistance to people during the Corona pandemic. Apart from this, money from schemes like PM-Kisan Samman nidhi and MGNREGA has also been deposited in the accounts of the beneficiaries.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY),  the government of india has organized a special program i.e. a special quiz competition. Answering the questions related to this flagship scheme, citizens can now participate and win prizes. prime minister Narendra Modi said this on Twitter.

The quiz will be live on the  NaMo app throughout the day today. Only those who participate in this scheme can take up the "Jan Dhan 10/10 Challenge".  Whoever answers 10 questions correctly will get a book with prime minister Narendra Modi's personal autograph.
