Actor Nagarjuna's N-Convention in the madhapur region was destroyed earlier this morning by the hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) of the telangana government. According to the authorities, the conference hall was destroyed because it was constructed by intruding into Thammidikunta Lake's property.

In the meanwhile, the claims of encroachment kept the N-Convention in the headlines for a considerable amount of time. Regarding the Full Tank Level (FTL) and buffer zones of Thammidikunta Lake, the hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) sent a preliminary notification to N-Convention back in 2014. HYDRAA officials said that N-Convention contacted the high court subsequent to obtaining the preliminary notification.

Nonetheless, the court ordered the officials to determine the Full Tank Level (FTL) in accordance with due process. In 2016, the last notice was sent out. The officials stated that the FTL survey was completed in N-Convention's presence in accordance with the court's ruling, and they have also received a copy of the report.

Afterwards, in 2017, N-Convention brought up the survey report in an approach to the miyapur Additional district Judge Court. It was mentioned that no court-issued stay orders had been issued and that the matter is still ongoing. According to HYDRAA, N-Convention used the unlawful facilities erected on the lake's FTL and Buffer Zones to control the system and carry on with its commercial operations. Additionally, it was said that the N-Convention had invaded one acre and twelve guntas in the FTL and two acres and eighteen guntas in the Thammidikunta Lake buffer zone.

According to HYDRAA representatives, the ghmc had not granted any authorization for the construction of these structures inside the N-Convention. HYDRAA continued by stating that N-Convention attempted to regularize these unlawful enterprises but was unable to secure the necessary permission from the relevant authorities. It was reported that there are serious water-logging problems in the madhapur area as a result of unlawful encroachments on the lands of the Nalas and Thammidikunta Lake. The officials went on to say that these encroachments had reduced the lake's capacity by more than 50–60%. The low-lying homes of a large number of individuals are also flooded during floors.
