A few days ago,Kangana Ranaut, the mp from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi lok sabha constituency, had made controversial remarks on the farmers’ protest in 2020-21. Kangana's comment sparks public outrage The bjp immediately denied that the party did not agree with it and  that kangana had no right to speak on behalf of the party. It also advised kangana not to make such comments in future. Union health Minister and Bhartiya Janata party (BJP) president jp nadda met kangana ranaut in New Delhi.

The meeting between Nadda and kangana, which took place on thursday morning, reportedly lasted for 30 minutes. Political sources say that the call to kangana in person may be a warning to her.

The number of seats won  by the bjp has come down from 303 to 240 in the last lok sabha elections. The farmers’ agitation is also a major reason for this slippage. Political observers are of the opinion that an Kangana’s comment  may have an impact on BJP’s the vote bank ahead of the haryana Assembly elections in October. In the last two days, all opposition leaders have been reacting aggressively to Kangana's remark.

They also demanded an apology from kangana ranaut to the farmers.
