BJP President jp nadda summoned kangana Ranaut?
bjp mp and actress kangana ranaut, who was surrounded by controversial statements on the farmers' movement, met party president jp nadda on thursday (August 29). It is believed that kangana was summoned by the top leadership of bjp regarding the controversial statement, so this meeting is considered important. The top leadership advised her to avoid making such statements.
In fact, after the uproar over Kangana's statement recently, bjp had distanced itself. bjp had said, "The statement given by kangana ranaut in the context of the farmers' movement is not the opinion of the party. bjp disagrees with kangana Ranaut's statement.''
bjp said, ''On behalf of the party, kangana ranaut is neither allowed nor authorized to make statements to speak on party policy issues.''
kangana ranaut apologized
kangana ranaut had said in an interview to Dainik bhaskar that bodies were hanging and rapes were taking place during the farmers' protest against the three agricultural laws. After BJP's rebuke, kangana ranaut apologized on wednesday (August 28). She said in an interview to news 24 that if the party suffers any loss knowingly or unknowingly because of me, no one will be more saddened than me. kangana ranaut said, ''We are not able to think at a small level what will happen. The nation must survive. If I have hurt anyone in any way, we are sorry.''
Other opposition parties including Congress, SP, AAP, shiv sena (UBT) and RJD as well as farmers' organizations are demanding action against kangana ranaut, mp from Mandi seat of Himachal Pradesh.
