Pramod Tiwari surrounded bjp over the ban…?

The assam assembly took an important step on friday (30 august 2024) and officially ended the two-hour Jumma break. Now politics has started across the country on this issue. congress MP Pramod Tiwari called it an act of revenge. He said, "BJP CMs and ministers could not do anything for Hindus. Half a temple has been built in Ayodhya. There was also an objection to its pran Pratishtha. Now they are harassing Muslims so that perhaps Hindu sentiments may awaken." 'Indian Hindus are tolerant'

congress leader Pramod Tiwari said, "We want that Hindus should be benefited and the rights of Muslims should also be protected. Namaaz is offered for 2 hours once a week. That time was given so that a person can go to the mosque and return from there. Which Hindu is bjp doing good to by ending it. bjp thinks wrongly about the Hindus of India... indian Hindus are tolerant... they are not happy with such acts of revenge."

assam government ends Namaaz break

assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had posted on X that the two-hour break given for offering Namaaz has been abolished. This rule will be implemented from the next session. A proposal to remove this provision in the rules of procedure of the assembly was placed before the rules committee headed by the Speaker of the assembly, which unanimously agreed to end this practice. Opposition parties there have questioned this decision of the assam government. Senior congress MLA wajid ali Choudhary questioned why this tradition, which had been in practice since before independence, was suddenly abolished.
