BJP claims - 10 candidates died in constable recruitment! 


Some candidates died during the physical test for the constable recruitment process of the Excise Department in Palamu district of Jharkhand. police gave this information on Saturday. At the same time, the opposition bharatiya janata party (BJP) claimed that 10 candidates died during the physical test. The party alleged that these deaths occurred due to lack of better management by the officials.


The police said in a statement that the physical examination under the jharkhand Excise Constable Competitive Examination was conducted at seven centers in Ranchi, Giridih, Hazaribagh, Palamu, east Singhbhum and Sahebganj districts. It said that unfortunately some candidates died at some centers during the physical examination. A case has been registered in this regard and the reason behind the death is being ascertained.

According to the police, adequate arrangements including medical team, medicines, ambulance and drinking water were ensured at all the centers. Babulal Marandi, president of the jharkhand unit of bjp, claimed that 10 candidates had died and demanded a judicial inquiry into the matter and compensation and government jobs for the dependents of the deceased. It may be noted that a total of 583 posts are to be filled through the examination being conducted by the jharkhand Staff Selection Commission.

Physical examination process is going on for this in various districts. For this, one has to run 10 kilometers. Many candidates are fainting due to running in the scorching sun. A week ago, a candidate from Keswari in Giridih died during a race in Jadugoda of east Singhbhum district. Reports of candidates falling ill are coming from many other districts.
