Why did Jairam Thakur give this advice to cm Sukhu?

Meanwhile, leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur targeted chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. He alleged that the government has also mortgaged the Employees' Provident Fund (GPF). He said, "Loans are being taken by mortgaging GPF. The government is mortgaging the savings of employees."


Jairam Thakur said that in 18 months, the Sukhu government has taken a loan of 24 thousand crores. By the end of the year, the debt burden on the state government will reach one lakh crore. He said, "Since taking over the reins of power, the congress government has been taking loans. chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has broken all records of taking loans. The former cm said that despite taking loans, the pace of development in the state has stopped. Instead of development, the state is being pushed backwards." He said that today every section is upset with the government. Employees have also come out on the streets and are protesting. Jairam Thakur further said that chief minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu does not listen to anyone. The leader of Opposition called the chief minister a dictator. He said that the government cannot be run on the basis of dictatorship.


'Delay in salary and allowances is a pretense of the government'
Jairam Thakur said that the delay in salary and allowances of the Chief Parliamentary Secretaries along with the ministers is a pretense of the Chief Minister. More than six crores have been spent on lawyers in delhi to save the unconstitutional appointment of the Chief Parliamentary Secretaries. He said that the state government is adopting a double standard. Chief Parliamentary Secretaries are provided with facilities like bungalow, car and assistant. He said that delay in salary and allowances is an excuse. This excuse is being made to avoid paying pending DA and arrears of the employees. He said that the government may express its inability to pay salary to the employees in the coming days.
