In times of distress, one would expect leaders from all walks of life to leap into action, especially those who once roared like lions when they held the reins of power. But alas, it seems some have misplaced their fire or perhaps it's just dampened by the floodwaters. Or perhaps they are simply taking an extended vacation, now that the responsibility no longer lies with them.

The likes of Kodali Nani, Perni Nani, and Anil Kumar Yadav, who were once as visible as the sun in Andhra's political sky, seem to have faded into the mist, leaving their constituencies to wonder if they've been abandoned. They were spotted briefly, accompanying YS Jagan, but as soon as the cameras were off, so were they.

Perhaps, they think it's time the people learned to swim on their own—or maybe they’re just keeping their powder dry for the next election. Either way, it's a curious case of disappearing leaders, raising the question: Where have all the firebrands gone when the fire needs dousing?
